This policy explains how Tampa Downsizing ("we", "us") handles information collected through tampadownsizing.com (the "Site").

  • Information you give us. When you submit a form we collect your name, email address, phone number, current neighborhood, moving timeline, the type of home you are considering and any notes you add.
  • Consent records. We record that you checked the consent box, the wording you agreed to, the date and time, the page you submitted from, your IP address and your browser type.
  • Technical data. Our hosting provider processes standard server data such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the Site.

How we use it

  • To match you with a licensed local real estate agent and share your request with that agent.
  • To contact you about your request by phone, text or email as described in the consent you gave.
  • To keep records of consent, prevent spam and abuse and operate the Site.

How we share it

We share your form details with the licensed real estate agent or brokerage we match you with so they can contact you. We also use service providers that process data on our behalf, such as website hosting and the systems that receive form submissions. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and others.

Text messages and calls

If you consented, you may receive calls and texts, including ones sent with automated technology. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or contact us at the address below. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Cookies

The Site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Retention and security

We keep submissions only as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal and record-keeping obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online transmission is completely secure.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you submitted, or to stop contacting you, by sending a request through the form on our Get Matched page with "privacy request" in the notes. The agent you were matched with keeps their own records, and you may contact them directly as well.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
